Custom Straight Serrated Industrial Blade for Bag Cutting Machines

Custom straight serrated industrial blade for bag making, film slitting and sealing machines. Tool steel, stainless or D2, heat treated to HRC 56-65, CNC-ground teeth for clean tear-free cuts. Any length, pitch and hole pattern to order – OEM/ODM by Dekeer.

Straight Serrated Industrial Blade

A straight serrated edge is the workhorse of bag-making and packaging lines: the teeth grip slippery films that a plain edge would let slide, and each bite leaves a tear-resistant seal line instead of a frayed edge. We grind these blades in tool steel, stainless steel or D2, matched to your product and washdown routine.

Heat treatment is tuned to HRC 56-65 – hard enough to hold the tooth tips through continuous high-speed running, tough enough not to chip when a splice or fold passes through. Every tooth is CNC ground, so pitch and depth stay consistent along the full cutting length.

Because no two machines are alike, everything is custom: length, width, thickness, tooth pitch and hole positions are produced to your drawing or reproduced from a worn sample.

Key Advantages

01Steel Matched to the Job
Tool steel for value, stainless for washdown areas, D2 for abrasive laminates – we help you pick.
02Tear-Free Bag Cuts
Accurate tooth geometry grips film and shears it cleanly, leaving edges that will not fray on the roll.
03Edge That Lasts a Shift
HRC 56-65 hardness keeps tooth tips sharp through long runs, cutting changeover frequency.
04High-Speed Ready
Balanced, straight blades run true in flow wrappers, bag makers and slitters at full line speed.
05Pitch-Consistent Teeth
CNC grinding holds tooth pitch and depth to tight tolerance along the entire edge.
06OEM & ODM from Drawing
Send a technical drawing, a used blade or just dimensions – we produce to spec, first article on request.

FAQ

Which steel should I choose for my line?
Stainless suits washdown and food areas; D2 wins on abrasive laminates; tool steel covers most standard films. Send us the material list and we will advise.
Can you copy the tooth pitch of my current blade?
Yes – we measure pitch, depth and angle from your sample and reproduce them exactly.
Do you offer stainless serrated blades?
Yes, stainless steel serrated blades are a standard option for wet or food-contact environments.
What is the lead time for a custom profile?
Standard profiles ship in 3-7 days; a new tooth profile takes 7-15 working days including first-article inspection.
